Enclomiphene

Repros Therapeutics, Inc.

Drug Names(s): Enclomid, Androxal

Description: The active ingredient of Androxal, enclomid, is a single isomer of the infertility drug Clomid. Androxal binds to the estrogen receptor, preventing the binding of natural estrogen, thus depleting estrogen receptors. This results in an increase in gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH), pituitary follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), and luteinizing Hormone (LH). It also increases total serum testosterone.
