Description: HDV-I Injectable Short-acting Insulin is insulin in a liposomal delivery system with a specific proprietary hepatocyte targeting molecule (HTM) in its bilipid layer. It is designed to get insulin specifically to the liver, where glucose is produced and released, rather than to fat or muscle tissue.
This formulation is a version of a subcutaneous injectable short-acting insulin for mealtime use. We have a separate entry for the oral formulation.
