Description: BOOSTRIX is a vaccine used for booster vaccination against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis (whooping cough) in individuals above 10 years of age. The vaccine is sometimes called Tdap vaccine. Compared to vaccines used for the primary immunization of young children, BOOSTRIX and other Tdap vaccines contain lower doses of the diphtheria and pertussis antigens.
